HISTORY
The
Stone Resource, established in 1992 grew out of the need to provide
custom stone countertops for our sister company Neil Allen
Industries, established in 1986. Our highly skilled craftsmen,
expertise, high-tech machinery, and other capabilities in creating
these stone bathroom and kitchen countertops also allowed us to become experts in
stone for commercial and residential applications. Neil Aberman,
founder and president of TSR, earned his degree in finance but
got his "real world" experience by working in and then
running his father's plastic injection molding company. This experience
lead him to understand the importance of the customer and providing
service that exceeds their expectations.
The Stone Resource was originally located in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida but relocated to our current location in High Point, NC to be at the heart of furniture manufacturing in the United States. This location allows TSR to be incredibly responsive to our Commercial and Residential clients in the area. Our newly renovated offices and manufacturing facility has grown to 40,000 square feet with a 40,000 square foot yard full of stone slabs from around the globe. Manufacturing consists of the latest in stone cutting technology including 3 CNC's and 2 straight lines. TSR can currently turn out 150 stone vanity tops in a day.
